Recently upgraded to an aluminum stab. control arm and the ball links on the linkages are tight and not allowing proper movement. What is the best fix?

Get a ball link sizing tool and size the links. That's the BEST fix. If you're careful and want to do a quick fix, you can squeeze the link while it's on the ball with a pair of pliers. Very easy to destroy the link and / or jack up the aluminum ball though.
Best bet is to get a links sizing tool and check out the Finless vid for instructions on it's use. I believe it's in the Trex SE build section.
