i just ordered a e-flite edge 540

here is my setup:
-E-Flite Edge 540
-12x6E prop
-1320mah thunder power 3S lipo
-E-Flite 20A ESC
-4 HS-55's
-long micro servo arms

all this minus the motor was 255.00

the motor was out of stock so i'll just pick one up tomorrow at my LHS. im gonna use the E-Flite PArk 450BL outrunner.

I'm lovin my new Speedwing Mini Ex. Lots of sim time flying the planks paid off big time. It's so nice to fly electric at the parks and not really bother anyone.

I like the E-Flite Edge 540. It's pretty amazing how good the builds are for the price.

i hear ya... i love flying my t-rex 450 at my local park at 9 in the mourning without pissing anyone off, so i cant wait till this gets here so i can spend more time there flying.

im hopeing all my sim tim will pay off to. i can do harriers, harrier rolls, hovers, tail touches, walls, flat spins and other tumbles with no problem so i hope this helps when i maiden this airplane.

Too bad you missed the combo deal. Horizon had the Edge with 480 motor for like $85.

BTW the included spinner will not fit the E prop, only the SF prop. I need to pick up a 1 3/4" Dubro and try it.
