Well I have finished my mt build and have been testing and tuning yesterday & today. I was having trouble getting my 401 dialed in and this morning I realized that I had attached the tail blade grips leading the wrong way. This cause not enough pitch in the clockwise yaw (the direction a needs the most pitch). So I flipped them and realized that this reversed the throw. So I reversed my rudder channel in the TX and all seemed well. Lots of pitch for clockwise yaw now. :D

Well If anyone out there proves to be as stupid as me...
PREFLIGHT CHECK THE GYRO REVERSING.
I removed the rubber gromits on the skids and placed the heli on a slick card table. I spooled up and gave some left rudder. The heli didnt twist at all..Huh?????? So I give a little right yaw & AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
    :arggg:
The DEATH SPIN is the scarriest experiance I have ever had in heli by a looong shot. My heart rate still hasn't calmed down a half an hour later.
In about <1sec before I hit hold the heli must have spun a half dozen times and then smacked around a few more rotations as it spooled down destroying my tail blades.
Luckily the heli and everything around is still in one piece except the tail blades.
Boy this thing can piro though....LOL

Anyways, I though I would post my experiance.
1 so that all the vets out there can have a good hard laugh.
and 2 so that any other noobs out there can be reminded to check and recheck everything anytime you make changes to a heli. Especially to the tail reversing.

Happy flying all, Noah
