I'd be tempted to send the Tx back to Ripmax for a checkup
Ripmax Corner, Green St.
Enfield
London EN3 7SJ
Telephone: +44 (20) 8282-7500
Does SW-H work with any other function if programmed ie Idle3, dual rates etc
I don't know where in the UK you are but it may also be worth comparing all settings with someone else's radio

this is not a uk radio so sending it to ripmax is a no go and i don't know anyone else with a 14mz :(
i can't get that switch to work with anything at all if i program it.
cheers

I can see only 3 possibilities left:
1) Have a look at the switch menu (in system menu) and check if the assignment corresponds to the switch. I mean is it set as a 2 positions momentary switch?
2) Check if your switch is correctly connected by opening the radio.
3) If you can physically change the switch with an other one to see if it works better.
Well, I hope some of these will give some result...

1.check
2.no need to, i know the switch works on preset progs
3. that is the last thing i can do really.
thanks

I am still thinking of your trouble... and I have some questions for you.
Supposing you use the model 't-rex.mdl' provided by Mark how do you check if it works?
By watching the servo monitor on your radio? Or by watching the throttle servo (engine on or off)?
In both case is something moving ?
And what is your throttle trim position?
