Maxamps cells?

Has anyone thought about giving these a shot in the 550? I know they had some problems with tabs overheating and melting the shrinkwrap on high power applications but according to the owner the new cells have the problems fixed.

I did the measurements today and I think the maxamps 20c 3100HV will fit perfect. THe dimensions are 30x93x38 (W x L x H). They're kinda like a short brick style......they're (6) 1550mAH cells in a 3s2p config. I'm going to order a set when the $$ comes in. AND they're light too...and only $89.....

I've got the 20c 3100HV in mine and I like them. Below is a inflight log I captured a couple of days ago doing some FF, stallturns and a couple of rolls. Nothing fancy. I've plotted pack volts, amps and I did stick my temp sensor to the outside of the pack. Didn't find any good place to stick it inside the pack so that had to do for the moment.

(stock engine, stock 50A speed controller, 535mm cf blades, ambient temp of about 20 degrees Celsius, 95-85-95 throttle curve)

I have been running both the 2x3S 3000 HV and the 5S 4000mA packs from MaxAmps, and they are good. Recommended.

Mine are weighing in at 239 grams each with 5" 12AWG leads and Deans Ultra connector. Edit: They are the 3100HV 3s2p LiPo.
