Well i have just finished the micro heli Al frmae and have found a few problems. The biggest is that there is no place for the canopy mounting bars to go, and the other is the tail boom hold brackets are a tad to small and the edges are rough. This cut thru my tail boom after about 15 minutes of flying. If someone else has this mod and did not have these problems please let me know. I love it it looks real sharp, and adds a bit of weight to the bird and makes it more stable, I think. I went over to Craigs Hooch and he helped with the new setup and it flew great. I got the tail boom reinforced and semi fixed but it flew great. I also put the Microheli auto rotation hub on it and Plasti-blades.

yep I am one of those boom strikes. They are heavy and have a habit of coming down onto the boom with a hard landing. I plan on going to the CF and soon but I am going to the belt drive tail and the brushless motor and a heading gyro all at the same time.

my plasti-blades only did minimal damage to my heli, the spindle staft, the main shaft, the tail boom, the main gear, the flybar, and I am sure I will find more. But it is up and flying, I would be using Woodies but I dont have any. I have gotten it into a hover and have not torn it up too bad. The tail boom is the only thing this go around, but I had one in stock so no biggie. I smoothed out the boom hold brakets and did not have a problem with it today. Yeatserday it cut so claen I could not have done it better if I had used a lazer.
