Hi everybody :
I’m just joined but have been reading about the Hopper’s project. Amazing and over 30 fly’s now!! Congratulation Hopper. I’m in construction process now of a 1:11 scale model of the Chinook B47 (1400 mm fuselage length), three blade rigid rotors heads (1680 mm diam. each) and, the most interesting, I think, powered by a turbo-jet engine. This friday I'll get the engine (hopefully) and I'll show it.

Costing? Please donŽt make me think in that :( . The turbine is a Super Bee two stage version by Jet Central (ex Artes) <http://www.jetcentral.com.mx>. I have a lot of work to do and still waiting for the stabilizer, a three axis auto pilot "HeliCommand Rigid" by Robbe <http://www.helicommand.com/home_en.html>. The tandem mixer is a TH-2 from Joe. I wish I could afford to build a turbine heli :( . Can't beat the sound! So did you design this yourself or are you following a instructions or a kit?

Cool Helimex, that looks so cool. I Might be in Veracruse in a few months, I plan on stopping there for fuel and a few Coronas, on my way to Belise. I live in south Texas but I love San Pedro. I will be intresed to see the thread as it grows. I am looking at a tandem when I get to where I can fly Really well. My wife wont let me get one until I can fly my CPP pretty well.

Obviously, Helimex is a master. My mouth is agape. Stunning work.
That thing must have cost him 5 figures, maybe 6. Incredible.
I wouldn't have the nerve to lift off with it. Crashing that thing, well, that woud be like seeing your dog run over.
