I went to the field to have a go after few weeks of no fly.
I crashed three weeks ago and got a bit discouraged, but finally I got myself together and decided to go to trim the R90 and check it out after the repairs.
Some easy flying, you know, get my guts together again, so there I am hovering checking tracking and the whole nine yards, when I decide to try a full up climb. I sit it on the ground to change to full throws and idle up, and at that very moment the tail rotor stop spinning
Shut down, took the tail case off thinking it was the tail gear (but surprised since it didn't hit ground) and they were ok. It was the infamous pin but the one on the front of the boom that went AWOL. I've read about them but never happened to me (until now) and that was the reason I really tighten them and put a good amount of locktite.
If it had happened 5 sec. later my rappy would probably be in a plastic bag one more time :DOH
