CANCELLED 3rd Annual Laurel Koll Memorial in Merigold, MS

Just trying to get a feel for everyones schedule. I have had alot of folks ask about moving this Fly in to Merigold, MS.

We ARE planning this event, although we have not settled on a date. We are looking at mid August to early September. How does that sound for everyone?

Just wanna get some ideas befor our first club meeting of the year.

Our club will be hosting the EAC Big Bird show in April, so later in the year would be better.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I looked over last years calendar for area events and the free weekends around that time frame were the last weekend in aug and the first two weekends in sept. Spacing-wise, the first weekend in sept would be good but that will also be labor day weekend. don't know how that will conflict. also make sure DSU isn't playing at home that weekend so there will be hotel space.

Man, I don't know what I am doing next week. Definitely stay away from Black Sheep and IRCHA.

I do not currently have time to host what I would consider a first class event, and I really wouldn't accept anything less than a first class event having Laurels name associated with it.
