On my DX7 I use the rudder D/R switch for throttle hold. Is there anyway to use the aux 2 or even another switch for rudder D/R instead?

Yes, you must use a program mix.
I've used the PROG.MIX2
Enter the menù
goto to [PROG.MIX2]
Press INCREASE key to activate the mix
Choose RUDD -> RUDD
Select the % you want to reduce the RUDDER (i.e. -30%)
Choose the switch to activate the MIX (I've choose the GEAR switch)
Leave OFFSET to 0
[PROG-MIX2]
RUDD-> RUDD
RATE: - 30%
- 30%
SW:GEAR
OFFSET: 0
That's it!

Yeah I figured there was a way, thanks for the input. I am learning Piro Flips and the dual rate on the rudder works wonders.
