ZYX Servo Horn Question

Hello,
I just put a set of Hitec hs5065 servos in my 450 clone. I am using the second hole in on the servo arm. I have +-12 degrees pitch but the collective range is only at 54 in the ZYX. From what I have read this should be at least at 60 but if I move the ball into the next hole on the arm it will not be anywhere near vertical.

Would I be better off with non vertical links or only 54 percent collective range. Thanks a lot,

Nobody else had this problem? In thinking about this some more would it be ok to just lower the high and low values in the pitch curve so that I can increase the collective range in the ZYX? Is there any downside to doing this? Thanks.

As long as your not getting the death wobbles and flies fine it will be fine.

I flew the helicopter over the weekend. It does fly fine after lowering the roll and pitch gain 5 points. Thanks a lot.
