Don't know if this was asked yet? What laptop do you use to play G3? And can you recommend A good laptop to use with G3. Can I go to Fry's? to get a decent laptop for G3?

Thanks

I have a compaq presario v6500 with 768 mb ram. I had to up the video memory in the bios and pretty much close everything I'm running then G3 runs fine. I imagine any of the new dual cores out wouldn't have a problem.

I run G3.5 on my laptop. It's a Dell Inspiron E1705 with a 2 GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 256MB Nvidia GeForce Go 7900GS video running into a 17" widescreen WUXGA monitor at 1920 X 1200 resolution.

I think it runs ok on this setup.

Edit: Oh yeah...I'm running Vista Home Premium too.

I've got a Dell Precision M90 with Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 512M NVidia Quadro FX 2500M graphics card... Running XP Pro x64. I use this thing for 3d animation and stuff. Anyhow runs ok, but I had to hack/copy the install from another system to get it to install on the 64bit OS...

Probably any reasonable laptop with a reasonable amount of ram/speed which pretty much anything new nowadays will be, will be fine for G3.5 Obviously faster is always better...heh. An XPS is probably great..
