Ok, I have to swallow my pride and ask before I waste any more money.
I have a 9CHP, I want to run a micro receiver in my Compy 300, such that I can just swap models and cycle the power on the TX and fly.
I had the thing working no problem with the stock crystals from a Blade CP, but I had to swap out the TX crystal whenever I wanted to fly the Compy. The Blade has now been E-Bayed (thank god it's gone!) so the crystals have gone with it.
I got a little 6 ch RX from the far east (its a Blue Arrow), and came with the super tiny micro crystal (yes it's the right channel) When all hooked up, everything works in the proper directions etc, but the servos don't move smoothly. It will seem all good for a few seconds, and then then it (a servo, not always the same one) will stop moving for a sec, and then jump into position. almost like the signal is delayed for a second. I tested the servos, they are all fine.
Is this a crystal compatibility problem, or did I just get a bunk receiver?
I have no radio problems with my Swift, which has a PCM receiver.
I just wanna know what I need to make it work so next time I spend money on a rx and crystal for this thing it is the last time. I have done a bit of searching, but it is still not clear. If I buy a GWS and a Futaba Shorty will it solve my problem?
Thanks,
