Planning on going to a brushless setup with my BCPP and was hoping to get some input from those with experience in this.

My plan was to go with:

Eflight park 370 4100 kV with the Eflite 20 amp brushless esc

FEIGAO brushless motor #1208436L with a Castle Creations Thunderbird 9 amp Brushless Speed Control

and to deal with the increased power loading on my aging eflite batteries get a Fight power EVO 20 — Li-Po 3S1P 800mAh 11.1V 20C

Does this seem like a good setup to go with? Any other advice (other than get a T-rex - to big for downtown flying)

Also can I use the eflite li-po charger with this battery?

Thanks.

as far as i know

no you cannot use the fp packs with the stock charger. your going to need to upgrade your charger and get a balancer.all in all 150 for charger, power supply, and balancer is about average for the " its better then nothing" setup..the flight power lipos use the same balance lead as thunderpower. my astro flight blinky has to have a adapter to balancer thunder power packs.. the pins in the balance lead are smaller then eflite. if you dont want to upgrade right now. electrifly lipos that have the same white plug on the balance lead as eflite packs. will work. i have a electrifly 1500ma 3s 20c lipo ive used with my pro. its to heavy for the pro but it flew nice with it in terms of the tail not drifitng to much.

i use the celectra charger its about 45 bucks.it will work for packs that are used in trex helis and smaller helis.but i need a power supply. you will also need a seperate balancer the blinky balancer is like 24 or 25 bucks. then you will need the thunder power adapter to use it on thunderpower packs or flight power packs..if you need any more info hit me with a pm. i can also explain how to use pc power supplys for rc chargers..

Just pm'd you about some other stuff but I was just thinking. Could I take the balance connector of my eflite battery and put it on the FP pack? Anyone try this?
