Hi there,
Would anyone know how to reduce the sensitivity of the left stick (G3) so that the helicopters do not jump from 1 foot from the ground to way up high with even a 1/4 click. I've removed all the serrations from the trottle control but it is still too sensitive. javascript:emoticon(':?')
Confused
Thanks for your help,
Wb

No responses!! :( Would this be, because this is a problem that everyone has? or because no one has ever had this problem? I know you can edit the throttle on the heli but then it affects inverted response, so I guess I'm looking for a more elegant solution.

Open the case and either put a piece of fuel tubing on the spring that pushes against the ratchet, or do as I did and flatten the little dimple on the spring with a pair of pliers. You need to keep some spring pressure against the ratchet part or the throttle stick will fall from gravity.

Hi Pilot,
I've completely removed the notches (sanded them away) , the spring is also quite tight - tighter than my real Tx. Its like this : the throttle is at the lowest point, I move it slowly up and the heli hovers and then sits at 1 ft height ( feedback fron nav guides) as i continue to move the throttle slowly up. Then suddenly within the space of what would be equal to half a notch the heli goes 20 feet and would only comes back down as i reduce the throttle again, to about 1 foot- no in-between height possible it seems. I'm thinking that i need to do something radical like adding a series resistor to the pot that controls the throttle, to increase resolution :dontknow

tks for the suggestion,

Try reducing the collective a few degrees. Headspeed governor will also lesson the sensitivity ov the collective
