I forsee many stripped TT gears.
:) I forsee less crashes due to the lack of a brushed motor driven tail blowing out
I could imagine if they did go with a motor on the tail, we would all be using a blade sr tail motor as a fix:rolling

Spec sounds good! Looks like not much room for outrunner upgrade. Stock motor seems adequate but not sure if it's powerful enough for the hardcores. Are those non-ball-bearing servos from 120SR? I wish it came with a BNF basic with no battery or charger. Will need to see if the tail can hold up on crashes. And of course wait and see how long before parts are available.

maybe we can make it belt by using a rubberband.

If horizon was a publicly listed company I would be buying shares.
Every mcpx owner is gonna buy one of these 130x's. I never preorder anything but I'll preorder this heli for sure.

I wonder how the servos will hold up in a crash? Will the worm gear or whatever is in them strip. I've pulled apart one of my MCPX servos after a crash because of some severe jitters but ended up replacing it because one of the metal conacts was bent.
I'm sure I'm going to buy one, I just love all the speculation and anticipation!!

I agree pricing is to high, but it isnt going to stop me  BTW will any of you mcp x owners be swapping to the 130x?
I will be. and I forsee alot of V1 being up for sale soon.
The MCPX can kiss it/

In this hobby nothing comes cheap :)
I won't replace my mCPX's with the 130X, instead I will add the 130X to my "fleet" of micros :D

Wow, I want one if it is as durable as the mcpx!

Exactly how big is this compared to the 120SR? Any good side by side comps other than what's in the video?
I see on the tech specs on the site the length of the 130 X is 12inches. Is it really only 2 3/4 larger in length than the MCPX (9.25inch length).
If so, I wonder how this bird will hold up in crashes being 'slightly' bigger than the pretty bounce-able MCPX

I'm sure it won't be as durable as the mCPX and it's sorta in the nature of things that it won't be given the shaft driven tail and small umbrella gears.. But I belive it will hold up pretty well as long as you hit TH before going in :)

Deff gonna wait for the review on this one in hopes its durable. It looks really awesome but if one crash will strip or bend or break something I dunno if I'm game. Although the brushless mcpx's didn't keep their durability either so I dunno. Also hope the parts are semi cheap because if it costs as much to crash as the 300x that would be lame. But if it comes out before the 300x I might just have to get one.

That is the only thing putting me of this heli.
Even if it solves the tail blow out issue?

That's fine with me I still have to learn to fly the mcpx lol

If it has mcpx like durability, I will get one. Otherwise, I will just get the 300x.
Ehh, who am I kidding? I will probably end up with both!

Sorry but an RRP of $359 is an outrageous price for a BNF plastic micro heli.

If I have never owned the mCPx, I would think:
"That's way too much money for a micro plastic heli".
Since I do own an mCPx, I think:
"That's expensive, but probably fun as hell, I may get it, heck, I probably will if no other company comes out with anything like this by the time it's out".
To Horizon Hobby:
Good job on getting me hooked, now I need to find more money.

I would doubt it will have no where near the durability... wont stop me buying one.:peace
I just hope HH start selling these things without all the bits that put the price up, ie tx,s chargers etc, just give us a pure BNF version, same goes for the 300x, 450X and 500x

Great looking heli this is the one I was waiting for from Blade:noteworthy Sort of an 120 size MCPX, only 50% bigger than a MCPX and only 107gr, nice!!
Nice thing is that they offer the tailgears in metal as upgrades, thanks for listening Blade:clap
Parts cost only slightly higher than MCPX.
Anyone want to buy a 'slightly' used MCPX:roll::roll:

You guys forget the major thing about flying heli's, DONT CRASH!!! I know, it's easier said than done, but I believe the parts for this will be extremely cheap and less crashes due to stronger motor and tail.
This is also their answer to the blade 120SR. Technology has come so far a long that they are doing away with fixed pitch. Soon the mSRX will be a variable pitch heli.

Looks great and will be on my shopping list.
Pity about the A/R pin location on the swash but is defo a step forward.

The msrx is already available as a cp its called a mcpx.....lol.
Edit: i hope they will still carry fp helis...not everyone can make the jump from coax to cp....i would have quit if the msrx waa any harder to leaen than it was...now I love it and feel ready to try some cp with a mcpx or 130x probably both....but I would have never got here without my msrx and 120sr. A120srx still has a place in the line up if you ask me...bigger than msrx but no annoying pendulum flybar on a fixed pitch...i would get it right now if it were available.

Looks interesting to say the least:clap
I think a lot of us will hold out until both the 130x and the 300x have been out a while and have been abused a bit to see which is the stronger and better overall bird. Some true Blade fans will probably by both on pre-order and just wing it!! (thanks to you guys, the rest of us can make a more informed decision about which pit to throw our money into:noteworthy
Only been flying Heli's for 4 months (minus the gas powered Heli-Baby I 'flew', crashed and killed when I was 13:).... and every time I get a heli in the air, its like a magic show...addicted!!
