well I have a 9chps tx, channels 7 and 8 are unused. Can I use them for the two aux channels on the gv-1?

yes. If you want to use the mixture control, you can use a second aux channel. Most modern engines do not require the use of the mixture feature, and it goes unused.

what is a good head speed for a raptor 60, tt 70 engine, 690mm cf blades.

1600-1650 Normal, 1700-1750 Idle Up 1, 1780-1850 Idle Up 2.
You will want the HARD dampeners, and if using a plastic head block, check it frequently for looseness or wobble.

sweet, thats just about exactly what i setup. I don'thave hard dampeners, but I will order some. What metal head would you recommend? Quickuk?

I will strongly urge you to steer clear of the Mavvrick metal head, Not currently owning raptors I can only relay what I've heard on the other brands. I've heard nothing but good about the Kasama Heads.
At $7 average for the plastic head block, it's not the end of the world even if it's a PITA to swap out in a hurry.. Keep a spare on hand and you should do fine.

awesome, thanks! :) I don't think Kasama is making one for the raptor 60 yet, but they said there is one in the works.

yeah i think they just have them for the raptor 50 right now. this is what I got from Kasama for anyone else that is waiting.. :)
