Hi
I also ordered the 600N sport (Which is what they call the non "pro").

I choose this one because I'm a beginner and don't need all the bells and whistles and like to have the belt driven tail which I know from the Raptor I used to have.
Also I don't really need the stiffnes or light weight of the carbon fibra frame for normal sport flying.... For me, the sport is a better choice, I feel confident that I ordered the one that suits me best.

I think the sport version is great for starting off - the plastic canopy is more resistant to crash damage and the belt drive more forgiving of those occsasional subterranean excursions of the tail rotor - performance wise I wouldn't expect to see any difference apart from some precision of tail placement in extreme 3D !

I have almost finished building my sport and it's in no way a "cheapie".
The quality is amazing and it looks BLING with those silver frames and M3 speciality washers.
If you don't 'need' the torque-tube tail or the additional quality of CF frames and glass canopy I'd say the sport is very good value for your money.

I know for sure that my next 600N will be another sport because I just love this thing and think it's priced just right.

Will go on holiday now, but when I'm back it's time to install the radio gear and go fly! Horray! :)

The 600n basic is a great heli.

Mine came with front and rear metal drive pulley's.

I'm adding the metal grips to my build.

The g10 frames look like silver carbons to me , i was fooled out of the box i must say.

I did put some thin ca on the edges to seal it up and maby add some strength.

the TT doesn't like tall grass. Gears are $12 per end.

Nice kit IMO

I just got the sport - not sure I understand, but what is the difference in frames on the pro and the sport? are they both CF, just the pro is thicker? or the dark CF is high quality or what?

The sport frames are G10 which is a form of baked fibreglass - cheaper to produce and a little heavier than CF but just as strong :)
