Spektrum DM9 Module for JR Radio (will fit any JR radio that uses module – 10X, 9303, 8103, etc - includes antenna, adapters, and cable) - $100
This heli/engine has about 30-40 flights on it. This is the heli which I flew at the Nationals last week (2nd place in Class I) in Muncie, IN. It has only done precision F3C-style flying, which is hovering maneuvers and smooth aerobatics, NO 3D AT ALL!
The Spektrum radio system has been rock solid. It is the 9 channel AR9000 Rx, utilizing BOTH remote receivers, so it’s flying with a total of 4 receivers on board! Two receivers are in the primary box located on the front tray, one remote Rx is on the right side and the other is on a longer extension located on the rear left side (both remotes oriented vertically for best antenna diversity). The data logger is mounted so that it is easy to check before/after every flight, and it gives you fades experienced by each Rx as well as total frame drops and holds experienced. I’ve gotten a total of 1 frame drop the entire time I’ve been flying it (it takes 44 consecutive frame drops to cause a hold), so it’s been really solid. I put fuel tubing over each antenna in order to protect them and keep them straight. The reason I’m willing to sell the module as well is because I’m soon getting the ground-up X9303 2.4. Of course, if you don’t want to use 2.4GHz just yet, I can include a brand new JR R2000 10 channel ScanSelect synthesized Rx instead.
The swash is set up on 140 degree CCPM, but I will include the balls and pushrods to turn it back into 120 degree CCPM. The servos are still nice and tight, as are all the ball links. The ATG works like a champ. The Fromeco 4800mAh battery lasts a LONG time, let’s you fly all weekend. Charge plug mounted above front left strut for easy charging and checking of voltage without removing canopy. All wires protected by spiral wrap where they may contact frame edges.
Engine is new long stroke YS 91SR, which is very powerful. Engine has been run cool and never fully leaned out. Piston and ring look new. Fan and clutch were balanced and dial indicated originally.
The reason I’m selling this heli is because I’m going to go all electric.
Prefer a local pickup (Florida), but will ship to Continental US.
Asking $1900 for everything listed above. $2000 with Spektrum Tx module.
