Spectra vs. Tempest [Archive]

Right now I'm flying a Tempest with OS 91 C-Spec and I got quite interested in MAs new Spectra G.

You guys already have a lot of experience with the Sepctra. How different is it to a glow engine and is the TRM as quick on the governor as the OS 91?

Basically I'm wondering, if I would have the same fun flying the Spectra than I have with my Tempest right now.

You can read this thread about how it works on a governor. John got a RevLoc from CSM that is designed to work with the Stator Gator for gas engines.

Talked to John on the phone yesterday about the unit. He is really impressed with how it works on the gasser.

Check out some of the videos in the Video forum of the Spectra being flown. That may help you decide.
