Hello people,

Wondering if anyone confirm what the max voltage for the Vbar box and gyro is? I am assuming it can safely handle 6 volts? If so I will equip my 500/600 with Hercules BEC and use a stepdown for the tr servo.

Which brings me to my next question..

What is best proven servo that works best with the Vbar system? I am thinking of using a 9256 Futaba servo.

Thoughts and experience on these Qs' welcome, thank you.

the v-bar can go up to 7.5v, however, you are right in choosing the 9256 servo, it is they best one to use, but will only work with 4 cells. i use 5.1v regulated

Thanks for that info Eyon, appreciated for certain. :)

I run 6v with a stepdown to the 9256 down to 5.3v regulated.

Thanks Fredrik, I am pretty darn excited to finally try out the Vbar, I know you been telling me to do this long time ago. :smokin:

I will get another VBar soon maybe for next year , Shawn , you will like the responce on the cyclics the best , as far as the tail dead nuts on the 9256 or the 9251 601 servo. Andy Rummer said the VBar tail gyro had a better consistent piro rate than the 601 . you coming down to IRCHA this year?
