I just noticed it said spectrum on it. I have heard ppl talk about upgrading as to lithium as well. you dont know where I can get one of those do you? If not I will just get a second stock batt.

Thanks.

Two things. First, if you get the lithium battery, you need to disable the charge port on the Tx and charge the battery with a litium charger. Second, there is an upgrade "mod" you can do to the voltage regulator which extends the life of the battery I think 2x. I can't remember where the Lipo batteries were, I will look to see if I have an old link to those.

Thanks. I did the mod already. Best $15 I spent. It doubled the life of a charge. I get about 5 1/2 hrs off a full charge. I read somewhere that if you put a lithium in with the mod it will last about 10 -15 hrs.

I did forget about the charger. Thats more $$$$$. Never mind. I dont think I want to spend that much on my DX6. I should have listened to everyone when they said spend the extra money and get the DX7. Now I want a raptor and wouldn't trust it on a DX6. I love it for my rex and haven't had a problem yet but not a raptor.

Thanks for the info guys.

SO, how long do you take between charges now ? How many flights, days, etc ?

It's different all the time. I try to fly 2 packs a day. At 10-12 min a flight. Sometimes I fiddle with my duel rates or expo or curves, in between flights. So that can last for 5-25 min. If it is fully charged it will read 11.2v The alarm will go off when it is 8.9v I think. I dont like to let it get below 9.5v I usually charge it once a week. I prob get at least 20 flights and some time playing around with settings. before it gets to 9.5v.
