Hi Guys,
I am having a little difficulty with my TT .39 engine. It starts OK but after a half a tank it seems to lean out and the RPM increases noticeably. I thought that the culprit may be a fuel line on a clunk that may have been too long in either the header tank or main tank allowing the clunk to rest against the back of the tank causing a lean condition but checked both and they seem OK. Twice today the same pattern occurred. Fine for half a tank then lean out for a couple of minutes and then the engine would cut out completely. The upside is that I these were my first real life autos and I must say I did pretty good on both. The bad thing is that I have not figured out what is going on. One other thing that occurs is that the engine RPM drops as soon as I get onto the header tank. No power to speak of just enough to land safely. Any ideas would be helpful. I have it set up as the book recommends three turns + a quarter turn. It just finished it's first gallon of fuel.
