Futaba Double Stick Tape Pad.... Is it Necessary???

I am moving my GY401 to a new bird and don't have any more of the Futaba double stick pads.

Can you use the padded double stick tape to put the 401 down ? You know the tape that is used to stick servos inside RC cars, and servos in foamy planks.

I don't use the square foam tape that comes with the GY gyros. I used it originally when I got the first GY gyro. But then after the tape failed I have not used it since. I use 3M Products double sided vinyl foam tape. 3M part number 4408.

That is exactly what I have here on hand. GREAT !!!! I had read somewhere not to use anything but the tape pad that came with the 401's..... glad to know that was a un-truth !
