I'm having the dreaded glitchy tail rotor servo problem. The same problem described in previous posts, but I couldn't find what the ultimate solution people discovered. I have tried moving the gyro (GY401) and the receiver (FMA Quantum)all around. Gyro on boom, gyro under roll/pitch servos, gyro on front area where most people mount the receiver. I'm currently using ferrite rings on the speed control (CC25) and gyro servo lead right next to the receiver. But I still get a pronounced, uncontrollable glitching going on right around hover. At full collective, the glitching seems to go away. coincidently when plug another servo into a Y connector, the second servo is rock solid. I've also tried using a berg receiver as well. hummm.

Is there a way to shield the receiver/gyro, and if so how. wrapping with alum foil doesn't do anything in my experience without some grounding. I'm up for shortening all the servo leads if I didn't think I'd end up needing to move everything around again.

Put the gyro on the boom, receiver on top front, and make sure engine wires are as far away from gyro as possible. Worked for me -- I use the same 401 gyro...
