Can anyone compare the two sims for me? The real flight doesn't seem "real" especially when the heli is at a distance...
I fly Kyosho calibers (30, 50, 90). Are these models available for the Reflex sim?
Best place to get it from?
Thanks much!

Hello blue,
My brothers and some of my friends have G3.5, I am the one who has Reflex. Their sim seems to be as good if not better in my tests. For example, their sim aircraft break into many parts, reflex the main and tail blades just dissapear and I may lose or bang the canopy, G3.5 if you fly over and get sun in yr eyes it seems to give the disorentation feel, reflex won't let you fly near yourself and keeps you from over the pits (may be a good thing), these are only a few items, O and Reflex I am forced to use my TX not so on G3.5. I am not an expert flier so this is just some of my views.
you have to see if anyone near you flies Reflex and give it a try or stick with G3. Helicopter are not meant to fly far from you, they are to stay closer, 30 to 100' max.

yes, the Kyosho 30 is included in Reflex and flies well, I do enjoy my Reflex sim, there are many adjustments to make each model fly closer to how your real life model feels. Reflex prevents me from developing unsafe habbits of fling to close or behind the flight line. I would not take my sim back to the store or replace it with G3, I meant that G3 has an advantage coming with a controller box. I bought a new radio to fly my machines with (DX7) so I to have a sim controller now (optic6).

Are you saying that the way your plane breaks make RF better?! I've got both and the amount of realism in Reflex is just another league! It's better in almost every flying aspect (concerning helicopters). I found a model that acts almost identical to my HDX450SE. I would choose it over RealFlight (g3.5) any time.

I tested Realflight G2, G3, and 3.5 and Reflex multiple times, in multiple hobby shops.
Realflight is a pale ghost compared to Reflex.
Both the image of the helicopter and the backgrounds are more realistic in Reflex. More importantly, the physics are more realistic. Realflight is more like a video game.
Reflex more closely reflects flying an actual model.
Realflight does come with its own dummy transmitter. Reflex requires that you use your own.
Realflight also allows you to fly on-line with your friends.
How the model looks when it is crashing, in terms of the parts flying off, is not really relevant and certainly not work putting up with less realism in terms of flight response.
Realflight has the best marketing...
A good site where you can find a lot of stuff for the XTR (and even other simulators)
is: http://www.rc-sim.de/
You have to register and log in. You'll find helicopters, planes and scenes for free.
...and like jvthert said. Between the Realflight and XTR I would also choose the XTR.
