need some help to setting a king 2 up it will fly but it is all over the place i am a newbie.

the blade tracking is spot on but win i take it in to hover it will track left like it is going to do i give it right input and it will go right then it will start going backwards it dos not seam stable win you give it input you have to do a lot of stick move meant just to kept it in one spot so any information would be helpfull :arggg:

i have got the gyro set so a don't have to chase the tail it stays in one spot maybe it the way the heli fly or i'm not taking it high en-of in the air i'm staying about a foot off the ground.

If the servos arrived that way I would contact the seller.

Helis are constantly needing control inputs... but be sure your heli is balanced. Hold it by the flybar next to the head, with the main blades parallel to the boom. It should be level. If not move the battery forward or rearward to make it balance. An aft CG will drive you crazy and be very unstable.

The King 2 is a nice little heli... I've had mine about a week. I have a 704-A HH gyro on the way so hopefully it will be my "Mini-Logo".

My servos also went South after some flying.
I replaced them with HS55 and found that they turn opposite to the stock ones.
Now I am waiting for my DX6 to arrive so I can reverse them and get back to flying.
Before they died I was very happy with the hovering and yes, get above three feet or so so the prop wash doesn't effect the hovering. The propwash will cause it to be VERY unstable.

You must be using a computerized radio unless you reversed the hs55s

I reversed the back ones and put the front one on the other side

Aha! I was told that would fix it but now that I have a DX6 on the way I will wait and just reverse them with the transmitter.
Did you have to drill the two holes to mount the front servo on the other side?

you can make it work just put the front servo on the other side I used double sided tape and a zip tie it worked for me.

Move the links on the servo arm 1-2 holes towards the center of the servo spline, This will tame the collective on the HB king2. Also moving the links inward increases the mechanical advantage of the servo arm to the swash and lessening the load to the servo during flight. As it comes from the factory, the HB king2, the cool, and the belt CP has excessive throws anyway. If you are using a computer radio, add a negative expo(+ for JR radio) to the aileron and elevator control. We also added small wheel collars to the flybar to further stabilize the heli for beginners. Anyway with these adjustments, the e-sky servos work fine. Also lookup RADD school of rotary flight, read and learn(highly recommended.)
