Many people requested for an update about the status of the Aurora so here it is.

Some of the parts required to be modified and reordered or molds modified to fit modifications we learned out of the testing program. We ordered those some time ago and we are finally receiving the last remaining parts.

At this point we have no more changes pending and all the parts are now in release status. Most of the modified parts are already in except for some parts that were changed at the last minute but those parts shouldn't take too long.

As you already know we won't give a release date until we have every single little item in house but we are pretty excited about it because we are very close.

We thought it would be nice to share some pics of what the kit looks like in close-to-release form so you guys can see what it'll look like when you get it.

For those who asked about it the box is 33-3/4" x 9-3/4" x 5" and fits in a standard 34"x10"x6" shipping box.

It comes with two sets of decals. Silver and Black and a CD with the manual and step by step assembly videos.

To make is easy for volume packing we use automated packing machines that have the advantage of printing the list of parts of each step on the bags themselves.

The other side of the bags are clear.

A boxed kit is one of the prizes at IRCHA (next week) so we must be REAL close if they are giving them away.

So on July 19, Augusto posts that they are very, very close. I guess very, very close is not really that close.

Now I am beginning to wonder about all the RF problem rumors,,,,

Rumors are just that.....rumors.

Ive witness first had that the aurora flies fine on both 72Mhz, and 2.4Ghz. All the pilots are using DX7 due to the servo sync, and it has the lowest interaction.

Yea but you gots to wonder what the delay is now. I mean... two months after he announces they are very close and btw here is what a fuly packaged kit looks like.

But hey, hopefully we will see it soon.

It will be released when it is released. That may be hours, days, weeks, months or years in the future.
