i wish someone would do a video on p-mix with a 10 X radio for ccpm. like shannon did on the pitch setup video for the tempest. the interaction on my swash (voyager 50) with 8311 servos is probably close enough for government work. but almost 1/4 a bubble off between 1/2 and bottom both fore and aft not much better on the way to the top.

All you should really need is two mixes, maybe just one depending on where the interaction is coming from.

1st Program mix Collective ( master) to elevator ( slave)
2nd Program mix Collective ( master) to aileron ( slave)

I am not sure if the 10X will allow you to select how you want the mix to operate. If it does , select the linear function.

Then adjust each mix till the interaction is gone at full positive and full negative collective

Not sure if this will work with the 10X. But you also may be able to adjust the ATV's on Elevator and Aileron at full positive and full negative collective and get the interaction out without affecting anything else.

Lear,
The only problem I have had with interaction on CCPM has been at the end of the collective ranges. I only check it in the middle position( swash level) and then at each end of the collective range. That is the only three places I check for level swashplate. It would be hard to adjust for level swashplate inbetween those three postions to me. Because the servos will probably stop different each time, maybe not all the time but sometimes.
So I just check those three positions, since those are the ones I am concerned about being consistent.

thanks david h for explaining. i have no interaction now. and my p-mix looks like a snake for pitch-ail mix to get it right. not as bad on pitch-elevater mix but off aways.

i figure that i hardly fly full out + -. and not in the center much at all. but i got it now. allot of trim in normal flight. then if i do go full tilt, i have to chase my trim. it was more of a irritation than anything. i will try it out tomorrow weather permitting.

ps good thing for 10X 7 point mix curve

If you look in the book there are four 7 point mixes and 4 regular linear mixes. I would also suggest studying the origin function and include functions as well. I have never been this particular on my setup, and my Vigor flew like a dream (and will again soon) but I think I will have to tweak some on my venture, because it goes all haywire inverted, and in autos. Once I get it all figured, you cqan bring the video camera, I'll get the Starbucks and a bed sheet for the backdrop, and well be (in)famous!
