View Full Version : how to install bearings in a carbon tail boom?

Can someone tell me the best way to install the bearings in the carbon tail boom. They fit too loose for my comfort, but running CA down to the middle bearing might be disaster waiting to happen.

If you look at your carbon boom you will notice that there is a small hole drilled in the center where the center bearing is. One can assume it is there to apply some sort of adhesive to keep that bearing in place. Perhaps you could do the same with the end bearings. Additionally. both ends are clamped and that may provide additional pressure on the boom to keep the bearings in place.
