So I just re-setup my EXI 450 Pro, which seemed to have a host of cheap electronics fail. So much of it is new again.

Here is power planet setup:
HobbyWing FunFly 40A w/ BEC
Emax 3800KV BL motor
11t pinion
2200 25c 3s

So maiden went well 6 min flight... tuning and a bit of FFF
let it rest and flew my Blade 400
Came back to Trex and 2nd battery flew great! Felt battery getting tired set it down popped another battery right in and flew another 4 or so mins, then got a momentary power loss mid air... heard it and felt it..... brought it around and landed it safe.

Thought that battery was done, so I grabbed a freeh one but now the ESC won't arm..... just gives me the constant slow beeps after initial power up, like when no Tx or the throttle is up.... neither of those were the case. And motor and ESC only slightly warm.... really the motor was cool.... esc just slightly warm????

So I come home try another fresh battery and every thing is ok now????

ESC over heat protection, maybe?

When I first had the power loss, and landed I tried spooling up on ground and it went up a bit under power than powered down again, and again.

Any ideas, I am gun-shy to put it back up in the air and have power go out.

Thanks for reading
Doug

Well test hovered it yesterday at home and just fine 5 min. flight

Today I took it out to the park and ran 3 batteries through it with a 10 min break between batteries and not so much as a hiccup.

So it must have been temp. protection circuit shutting down the ESC, when you run 2 batteries back to back even thou the ESC only slightly warm....

Can't find any info on this, so I guess I will cool my jets and not try and fly back to back anymore....
