Hi i have just got this radio and was wondering how i save my model settings.
Have tried to setup a plane in acro mode and a heli in heli mode, but when i'm going to fly the models the settings have changed when i switch from heli to plane and visa versa.
Can't even find the model names i wrote.

Well first you will need to program the model in its own model memory.
The 7C will store 10 different models in the radio.
For example, you can have a model programmed on Model #1, then another type of model programmed on model #2 and so on.
Yes if you have and Airplane model programmed and you go into the parameters of that model and change the model type. That model will reset back to the default settings.
Program your heli in like Model #1 in the radio, then go to Model #2 and program your airplane or another heli.
When your ready to fly the heli, just select Model #1 in the transmitter, then go fly the heli. When your ready to fly the airplane or another heli, go to Model #2 and go fly. Or what ever Model number you have them programmed in the radio.
This will help you learn about the radio.

Thanks David.
I suspected that was the reason.
I'm used to my Airtronic (or SANWA RD6000) radio, and it works a little different.

Well according to the instructions I have read about the RD 6000.
It works very similar as Futaba. If your in Heli mode and select airplane mode. It will go back to the default settings. Most computer radios I have seen do the same.
You have to set different type models up in different models on the transmitter.
