So guys, do you think the Vibe 50 is going to be a real competition for the Trex 600N?
I have only read good reviews about the Vibe 90, so the little brother has to make a stand.....
What do you guys think?

It will be for sure a great competitor for the TREX, but i think the TREX will win it because of the cheap cost of the spare parts, what can not be said about the JR's parts !
Grtz,
Dirk
If the Vibe 50 is $400, parts cost the same, weight is the same. Sure it'll give it a run. It looks like a nice bird. My money is on more expensive, heavier, and expensive parts. They are finally closer to a modern look on the canopy. But the quality will be nice. The complete and total reaming my buddy used to take on upgrades kinda kills it for me as well.
I'm sure the JR faithful will buy them. But I doubt they will come close to flooding the fields in volume. I like the 90, but put it on the shelf with an Aurora or Synergy and it likely isn't coming home with me.

JR parts are hard to come by in the UK and when you do find a supplier they are way expensive. Trex 600N will win the day :glasses2:

I hade a Vibe 90 for a year. Got one when it first came out. SUPERIOR quality kit and one of the BEST flying 90's I have ever had my hands on.
Alas I sold it for a few reasons.
Parts support SUCKED. Many times Horizon had NO parts for a long time for basic crash part like booms, shaft drive tubes, etc. I sometimes was afraid to fly my Vibe for fear that if I crashed I would be down for a long time waiting on parts.
Some parts are SUPER expensive. The head if you bent it would cost ya. Frames were very expensive as well... Other parts were reasonable though. But I guess thats the cost of GOOD QUALITY though.
Not many Vibe flyers in my area.... One of the aspects of having fun with a heli is others that have the same heli and you can share experiences... I felt like the odd man out. I think due to the cost of this heli and lack of parts made this heli not sell well :(
Finally I sold mine as I was have a hard time finding places to fly it and I was going more and more electric.
My opinion is the Trex600 will win out especially if Horizon supports the 50 like they did the 90. This time they better go out the shoot with pleanty of parts support AND they are going to have to price this competitively with the 600.
Awesome quality is always good but paying a step cost for it does not seem to be where people go now adays Maybe over achieving customer expectations and having higher cost is not the right marketing plan!
My 3 cents ;)

I sold my Vibe because of the parts cost. Then I bought a MA Stratus, so I guess I didnt learn.
The parts cost of the Trex is going to be hard to beat, most of the stuff is downrite cheap, once the parts availibility catches up to the demand.
