I'm thinking of getting a cellpro 4s charger for my li-po and I would like to use my old power supply. Here are the PS specs:

Todd Engineering power supply from 1998
45 amp 120 vac input. No load output 13.22V DC
Max current 45.8 amps, Dual voltage 14.24vdc, S/C current 3, S/C recovery 4

The cellpro website just says that it requires 10-16V DC. Will this PS work? It was very expensive back then, and pretty much the best if I remember right.

Thanks!

It should work perfect. I run a 60 amp adjustable supply that gives power to all 6 of my chargers.

Hi Tosto,

The user manual of the charger gives you the answer.
Input voltage : 10 to 16VDC, revers polarity protected.
Input current : 5A Maximum.
Conclusion : you can use your old power supply without any problem.
The power consumption is 50W maximum!

Best regards.

Ok, thank you! I wasn't sure what "dual voltage", S/C current, and S/C recovery were. They don't teach you the practical things in college, apparently.
