Today I received my AirThunder 5000mah 6s1p pack, it is on the charger as I write this. It has the same balancing port as the Align 6S packs and fits on the Trex 600 perfectly. It is a little heavier than the TP packs but the extra weight balances the 600 perfectly. I will be shooting some video and posting some flight data tomorrow. I cant wait...

Since you have contact with them are they planning on any 3s3300-3700mah packs? I have emailed them and never got a response.

Ooh.. I wonder if I can call Barry on Monday and get a pack to flog for myself...

So far I'm finding these AirThunder 3S 2100s are very hardy indeed. I've flown them both until the heli needs full throttle just to hover and they're still going strong. Sometimes I need to "kickstart" the charge with a couple mins on the Triton 'cuz the TP1010 doesn't like the low voltage, but other than that, zero problems and they always come down "comfortably warm".

1 pack is being subjected to 2C charging rates and the other at 1C just to see if it limits the lifespan to charge that hard.

Where can I get a balance adapter to go from this align plug to a 210V balancer ??

I plan to test the crap out of mine on a comparison with the FP4900 and the TP5000, I will also post my FDR Graphs as well.

I dont torture the TP or FP pack just because they wont hold up and Puff, or so I have been told but I dont want to find out first hand hahaha.

Anyway heading to the states in less than 12 Hrs and hope to be flying NLT Thursday !!!

They are really hard to fine. We do carry limited amount but it's in very short supply. We will have plenty of them early next week. In the mean time, please check out these links:

Now that our 5000 packs are in smooth production, we will move onto 1050 mAh pack next. 3800/4000 pack will probably be after that.

Thanks for your interest.

Well we tested the battery on Sunday and it worked flawless. I anm really suprized how this battery performed on its first flight. ( no breakin ) Its pretty wierd seeing a 600 run until it just hits the cutoff and falls. This battery has allot of punch right out of the box. Im pretty excited to do some further testing on this battery. The Eagle Tree data will be posted as soon as I get it working on my new computer, its having driver issues with Windows Vista. I had to post the video using Google because the file was to big for YouTube. Stay tuned for further testing results...

Great video, impressive 6:30 runtime (vs 4:30 on TP5000/80%) although in terms of useful flying perhaps 6:00, still a significant increase combined with a comfortable battery temp and no puff-worry. Nice

I'll add my nag for 3s and 4s ~3700 suitable for say an HDX500 airframe (must fit inside 40x50x110) ASAP  With more 500-class helis coming on the market (Lepton, QJ-EP8, 3DX500, HDX500, RCT-500, SJM-500, TRex500 etc) we will likely see a big jump in demand for this size pack.

Their connector is the same as Align, Electrifly. There are photos on their website. AirThunder.com also offer all sizes of adapters--2s-6s to go with their battery packs. Just pick one up at check out. They have good price too.

I have been flying the crap out of mine and its doing well, I am abusing it also. I fly timed flights on my TP and FP then just fly the AT. I'll post some FDR's later today. Has about 25 cycles on it already.

Flying it with a HV85 and a 600XL motor.
