Where can I find it in stock in the US? I've been looking for a while now, any help is appreciated, thanks.

It is quite easy to do it your self..

You can trim the boom and trim the tt shaft and drill a new hole for the screw.

How much am I cutting off of the boom and tt? I figured it wasn't that hard but I was trying to avoid doing it myself because I just don't trust myself with it.

Depending on your flying you can just fly the stock boom with 6s/550mm blades. I did and it was fine. Now if you are into hard 3D and lots of piro moves you will want to shorten the boom.

I am into hard 3d and piro moves and I keep it at stock length still with 6s and have no issues I can perceive..

just look at the fusion 50 boom length and the outrage 550 boom length (on heli direct specs) and the difference is what you cut off.. I have never done it as I fly with the longer boom fine.

OK, thanks fellas. I'll give it a shot. I can always buy another one if I mess it up.

I cut 85mm out of my torque tube and boom.

If you do not mind the color - this one is actually in stock. I tried it out and also the standard tail boom length worked too with 550 mm blades the shorter tail seems more locked in to me.
