HK4525-520LE shaft came loose

Hi, I had a crash on my Goblin and i have it back together now but i was doing some inspection and the motor shaft was loose. The klep ring was missing, not sure why. I loosened the set screws and pulled the shaft so i could get the pully off the end of the shaft but now i cant seem to get the shaft back in the motor all the way. i checked the shaft to see if its bent but it looks ok. it seems like i could get a new klep ring (the little washer was still on) and put it back together. any advice here?

Found the info i was looking for (video of how to change the shaft) but now i'm not sure if the motor is damaged, it may be. if the shaft came out without using a Arbor press is the can damaged. i pulled the motor out of the can and i can push the shaft into the can by hand. i'm feeling sick. :face

no problem as long as it doesn't move side to side, the grub screw will hold it
