Hi Everyone,


We are putting the dates and another HELICOPTER GATHERING event together. Will let everyone know when it is firmed up.

We may have a 3D fly off for non professtional sport flyer's this year. It will have a cash prize going to the best all out 3D flight performance. Each flyer gets one flight only, good or bad. Non partial judges pick the best "WOW" flyer. Best 3D act gets the brass ring, so to speak.

Got a few more surprises brewing as well. However if we tell you about any of it there won't be a surprise.

I have Pic's of field if you like its Very Big both ways but Very Long only used about 1/4 of field last year and had over 100 people attended FUNFLY :thumbsup2:

It will most likely go around Labor Day again. The Atlantic County Skyblazers RC club near Atlantic City N.J. hosts the field.

I'm doing fine. I've been so busy with work and my house haven't had much time for anything else. Hoping to get back in the swing of thins this spring. Would love to make it to the gathering but as like the last two years doesn't look good. I always miss the fun.

Hey Matt,

Hope you can wiggle it around to make it up for a day or so. Monday after the event is Labor day. This will provide you with an extra day to travel back home.

We planed it this wayso everyone who attends has the extra day to comfortably travel home. Many people have off on the Monday after the GATHERING.

How do you manage to feed everybody at the event for free ? That 's to me is the BOMB by it-self. Very good one !

It is simply my contribution to all who make the effort to come and join us.

The HELICOPTER GATHERING is designed to be an RC helicopter party for everyone who has the one common passion we all share. RC helicopters.

It don't amount to a few thousand bucks anyway.

Some guys crash costs are close to that much some months.

We have an over the top event planned for everyone this time around.

Hi Bob,

Counting the days till the BIG event. I have been on a diet for the last 6 months (lost about 50 pounds) just so I could get one of those delicious hamburgers.

Only about a thousand mile drive for me but this event is worth the trip.
