K i feel like a freakin idiot. 124$ down the drain. Almost cried when it happened. Finally got all my hurricane stuff and what do i do? i explode one of my Li-poly batteries... because i'm a moron.

The connectors on my Thunder Power 3300's are different than the ones on my little 11.1 balance charger. So i changed them. And then plugged my Thunder Power 3300mAh 11.1V 3 Cell Li Poly 3s 3300 into this charger and it shocked the shit out of me and proceeded to burst in to flames. Well im glad im not hurt ( i should have been for my stupidity) but now i need to know what i need in order to charge my thunder powers. If someone can help me out with a link by link lay out of what i need to charge these bad boys i would realllly appreciate it.

Cheers

You can charge 2 3s TP3300s together with a series adapter cable (make or buy). TP1010 charger + 210V balancer will work well and give you readout of each cell voltage and voltage difference (imbalance) before, during, and after the charge so you can decided whether to disconnect after the charge or keep it there longer until balnaced.

There are several high quality choices including:

FMAdirect Cellpro4s x 2 (~$150)
Hyperion 1210i + LBA10 (~$200)
eStation BC8 (~$250)
TP1010 + 210V (~280)
eStation 902 + PB6 (~$300)

The simplest, safest and cheapest would be two FMAdirect CellPro4s with the right adapter cable (CP-TP/PQ adapter I think, but email them and ask just to be sure): http://www.fmadirect.com/products.htm?cat=45&nid=4

Just separate your 3s packs and plug one into each Cellpro4s for automatic and safe balance charging. All the other solutions require more complicated wiring to balance charge the two packs as a single 6s pack.
