After both clubs having their club meetings this week, the St Charles helicopter club/group has decided to merge with the St Louis Whirlybirds. This will make a much larger and much stronger helicopter club. The whirlybirds have their south county field and the use of Buder Park. The St Charles group will continue to work on getting another flying field in the St Charles County area. If the flying field goes through in St Peters, the whirlybirds already has approved to pay for insurance for the field.
