You know, the 12 volt car chargers.
Has to be somthing out there to make them a viable source for 12volts.
The power from most is pretty dirty the pb batts don't care. Lots of chargers don't like them at all. So it's considered poor practice by most.
They work pretty decent when used with a pb batt in parrallel to smooth everything out. Been doing that on my bench for years. I have run my 109 and 112 direct, they worked but you could see them flicker different than on battery or clean power. The schulze and I think triton's just barf.
Huge caps or a battery make them viable. But raw they can be a problem. For a cheap PS convert an old computer PS. Works great nice clean power.
