Well last night was the first flight of my Spectra G TRM231 Hatori.

Exhaust sounded awesome very perky... did notice a little leak after a couple of minutes, dont know if there needs to be some sort of gasket or sealant between the pipe and the small middlepiece connecting to motor.

Another small glitch I found is that the pull starter does not locate properly on belly plate which makes starting cumbersome and essentially a twoman operation with one person tilting choppper and holding the rotor head...

Other than that could barely sleep last evening in anticipation of flying this ship again....

Make sure you have the bottom plate<thick one> in the right orientation. I know another guy that was having a similar problem, and that turned out to be the reason why.

Mike I double checked ,are you referring to the Base plate,as that plate is identical in both instances on my machine....????

Flew all afternoon today, found it hugely awkward trying to hold pullstarter in place while tugging and stabilising the ship...

I would prefer to even fit pullstarter permanently.....????? weighs hardly anything........

Cheers
