I'm getting my gaui kit in soon. Man Bob's videos are hella helpful. I'm just wondering for you guys out there that have put the xes pro heli together already.
1.)Did they fix the link isssues or do I have to go get the raptor/rocket city links?
2.)How about the bearing issues on the metal grips not having grease?
3.)Anything new about increasing the cyclics without binding?

Let us know when you get your kit and put it together if they fixed the problems.
Those items you listed were not problems for some users. You do know there is a law of statistics and how good and bad parts fall out on the shape of the bell curve.
Someone gets a perfect kit and someone gets a real lemon. The rest are in the middle. And the only ones you ever really hear from are those that got the lemon.

#1 is only an issue if you are using 24mm wheels. Larger servo wheels allow your linkages to be held at the necessay 28mm, or you can purchase the Custom Heli Parts Servo Arms to remedy this.
#2 GAUI has been checking this, however as a good rule of thumb, its alwasy better to take your heli down and check everything for grease, binding and loctite.
#3 We get +12/-12 with no binding, and can hard 3D this machine. Anymore you are loading up the head and putting extra load on your setup.

I will be keeping you guys updated. By the way, thanks readyheli for the nice service for getting my order ready. I wished I knew about this heli have two gears and a pinion. I didn't order the secondary gear. Oh well, guess I'll have to make another order soon :D

I am confused by this.... I think if you use the STOCK offset (plastic bell cranks where the only choice is to use the offset) and proper 28mm spacing (as I do in my video) the links are still too short. If you use the metal elevator bell crank and dont use the offset then your OK.
BUT as I show in my vids I also dont like how many threads go into the long links on the head. Unless that was fixed I still reccomend using raptor links or a link that allows more threads into them.

Bob:
No worries, the topic is regarding the XES Pro kit, which comes with the cnc bellcranks...however it is good to note and caveat that the plastic bellcranks will not work, per your video.
We are both right and wrong, depending on which kit we are discussing.
It is always better i agree to have plenty of bite in the threads.
