Hi gang,
I just picked up a Titan complete with electronics and radio for an awesome price. Only a single tank of fuel had gone through this machine. I was fairly stock so I added the TD underslung metal head, CF frame stiffener, elevator push/pull. It already came with Mavrikk CF main and tail blades.
I was toying with the idea of changing the belt for the .60 torque tube. Is this even possible and what would I need to do it? What would a good engine to match this to?
Thanks,
Dan

As far as I know, the raprot 30 and raptor 50 are more or less parts compatible.
The raptor 60 and the raptor 90, are parts compatible.
the 50 and the 60, not so much... well, thats what i've heard.

There's a lot more to this than simply changing the tail boom.
For starters, the diameters are not compatable. I don't have a clue how you could shoehorn a 60 tail boom (complete with the drive mechanics) into the smaller Titan frame. You would also have to change out the tail drive gear on the main shaft and the shaft diameters are different.
The Titan is a really nice machine with an OS 50 Hyper engine and the cogged belt works fine. If you really want a bigger heli, I suggest you sell the Titan and buy a bigger Raptor.

There's really no point. As Ron said if you want a 60 buy a 60, better yet go straight to a 90 because if you have upgradeitis thats where you're going to end up anyways.

I guess that you guys are right. Having up graded my T-Rex 600 to the new TT tail and noticed a big difference I thought that there might be an easy way to do it with a 50. I have a 30 with the TT .39 that is pretty good and the .50 was quite a treat when I picked it up for a bargain so I thought that I might be able to modify it a bit. It is not a big deal. I will likely opt for the 90 option when the time comes. Thanks for the input.
