Hey guys,

Taught the ice 50 esc end points, now on my controller do i need to switch back the travel rate for throttle back to the default 100 100? or leave it at 124 95 the setting of teaching the esc end points.

Thanks

Leave it alone.

Exactly. After adjusting the ESC end points with the transmitter ATV/Travel, leave those values alone. That is specially true in your case where the low is 125 (I assume you checked the Autorotation box). If you bring the ATV/Travel back to 100% for high and low, the ESC and transmitter end points will no longer match.

Hey guys, thanks for that.

Yeah, i checked the autorotation box.
First time using gov and a castle esc for that matter.

Governed HS is my preferred way to go too. The ultimate governed HS will be lower than the maximum possible HS when using end points, but the governed HS is more consistent and easier on the power train. Make sure that you fly with a governed HS that will use between 88% and 95% throttle when you click on the info tab next to the "Desired Head Speed" area. Higher than 95% will make it difficult for the ESC to govern HS properly due to lack of "head room". Lower than about 88% will make the ESC run hotter, and the motor less efficient. It is better to change the motor pinion to get either higher or lower HS. Refer to MrMel's HS calculator http://heli.dacsa.net/calcv3/, although I consider his paid iPhone app even better.
