Well, as promised I am posting a full build series of the 600N in my Tech room. This will be an end to end series and I will be covering everything. Yes some stuff will be a redo of steps that are common to the 600E but I will be going over things that have changed since I did the E version a year ago in those steps.
Also I will be showing some steps that John has covered in his videos as well.
My vids will be here:
http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=41514
John's vids are excellent too so I suggest watch his as well as it is always good to get another perspective. Also he covers some things that I wont be like clutch liner replacement, etc.
John's vids are here:

I updated the above links as they did not work due to the migration to the new site.
Anyway they will now take you to the proper topics in my forum BUT.... Video downloads are now working yet. Stay tuned we will have them fixed soon.

To Whom may help:
I am building my first heli and its a TRex 600N Pro
The issue I have is that the M3 6mm set screw that locks down the FlyBar Paddle is too small for the hole in the paddle - Has anyone else had this issue?
I watched the Finless video on the step (AWESOME BY THE WAY FINLESS) and i have the right set screw, the hole is just too darn big.
Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Align had shipped out some defective paddles and the holes wre too large. The set screw is the correct size. You will need to get your paddles replaced. Contact www.alignrcusa.com (http://www.alignrcusa.com) and they will send you replacements.
Bob
I had the same problem with the set screw holes being to large in the paddles. I purchased new paddles as i didn't know it was a widespread problem. as much as i spent on this heli another 6 dollars really wasn't going to matter.

They're in the same area as the T-Rex SE videos, under a thread labeled, strangely enough, "NEW - Trex600 Nitro Pro Build Vids". Here's a link to the thread:

Great videos again, thank you. I used your videos to build my 450 SE V2, and now I am using them again to build a 600N. Your work is very much appreciated.

Finless The Great
Did my 450SE V2 by your vids and now my 600 Nitro Pro...the build went without a hitch. I am really confused on the pitch and throttle curves however.
OS Hyper, Align pipe, Cool Power 30% DX7 and AR7000
I have set up a linear throttle in normal mode 0, 25, 50, 75, 100, and a pitch curve of -3 to +12. At 50% throttle I am at zero pitch per you awesome vids.
I have set up my IdleUp 1 set up as follows, throttle curve 100, 75, 50, 75, 100 with a pitch curve of -12 +12, Idle Up 2 same as 1.
I am a master hoverer and a beginner in forward flight, and would love to her your reccomendations as far as the pitch and throttle curves go.
Thanks in advance!

Pitch curves are fine nothing to change.
For throttle curve I am using a governor so I really cant give you a non-governed curve I am using. Plus the curve is going to very for everyone a little.
But to adjust your throttle curves here is what you do
For throttle you will need a tach and you will need to set your RPM at hover. Lets say normal mode at 1900. On a 5 point pitch curve this would be point 4. Once that is set now you need to fly around and do climb outs using full pitch. Adjust point 5 down until at full climb out you are not over speeding but not bogging. YES you may not be at 100% on point 5! Now come in for a landing from high up and adjust point 2 and 3 so that the RPM doesn't over speed but also RPM doesn't drop.
OK normal is set. Now do idle up. Same kind of thing. Start with the V curve you have now. Go into hover and set point 4 for say 2100 head speed. Do the climb out thing again and set the 5th point. Yes with this head speed it may be 100%. Now for point 1 and 2 set those the same as point 4 and 5. Now the tricky part is setting point 3 (the middle point) so that when you go to 0 pitch you don't over speed. Climb up high and go to 0 pitch letting the heli drop. Listen to the motor and try to get point 3 so you don't over speed. Once set your done.

Thanks for the build videos, just built a 600NSP and it lifted off with just a few ticks to trim on left cyclic.
Just plain AWESOME!
Keep up the good work.

Bob Finless, or anyone else that might know, I am on a dial-up connection. Would it be possible for me to purchase all these videos on a DVD or CD? I just bought my Align 600N and am a newbie. I'd love to watch the videos, but at this rate, it's going to take me sometime into next year to download all of them!

I could probably throw them on a DVD for you (or CD, if you prefer the WMV files) for the cost of the disc and shipping. If you don't get any better offers, PM me.

I am OK with anyone putting the vids on a CD / DVD to help those with dial up AS LONG as they make no profit.

I wouldn't dream of it. I feel like I'm in debt to the folks here for all the assistance over the last several months, so profiting from it would be *so* wrong. I should have thought to check with you first, though. My apologies.

No reason to apologize man... Your post was right on. I just responded to let others know the rules as I have in the past had serious problems with people selling my stuff for profit on Ebay.
