Hi ,

Thanks for dropping by to read my thread. Recently just got into R/C and have bought a Mini Titan E325 Heli and a Futaba 9ZH WC2 2nd hand.

Though my Mini Titan is fully built but haven't got it flying. I'm very lost at programming the TX. Manual is not detailed in explanation.

Where can I obtain layman terms websites/information in understand R/C and especially how to program Futaba 9ZH WC2?

If got such guides / books with ISBN number would be great.I can order from publisher.

or any 9ZH Experts here ??

Thanks !!

well, the 9Z is not the easiest way to introduce yourself to computerized radios.

yes, it can be confusing since it is somewhat different than most other radios but once
you 'get it', it's pretty easy. there are a couple of user written 'tips' documents floating around
the web (try futabarc.com) but the thing to realize is that 'EVERYTHING IS A CONDITION'.

on the 9Z, the menu system has 3 main levels:
SYS - 9Z setup stuff
MDL - per model global setup items like type, name, switch setup, condition naming, etc
CDN - everything else.

Every model starts off w/ 4 'conditions' which you can think of as flight modes. You need
to be IN the flight mode in question to make changes and nearly every parameter is adjustable.
That makes for a fair amount of button pressing. What a lot of us do is keep 1 model as a 'template' and copy it as needed and then make changes to it.

What specific questions do you have?

Here is a great vid of how to set up the 9Z. It should get you a great head start.

Go over the vid, then ask away :)
