i dont know if this is appropriate and if it isnt please just disregard and erase. But i think all to often company's are only mentioned when something goes bad.

Just wanted to give props to thunder power for taking care of me. I toasted one of my 3s 3300 mah TP packs and they replaced it for me with no hassle at all. I couldnt believe how easy it was and how great theyre customer service was. I'd have to say the same thing about readyheli.com also. good people that understand CS is important.

Well said, I agree that not enough emphasis is put on customer service. To many people think a cheap deal is a good deal I disagree, I think that most prices are so close anyway your now down to how quick will I get it, what if the product is damaged when you receive it, will the company you purchased from help you and will they even return your email when they realize you have a problem and need help, also if your new to the hobby, seek out the people that can help you along the way.

As an addition to what you said readyheli.com is one of the best online stores I my self have ever seen. They get back to you very quickly and as a bonus their prices are great as well.

My opinion- look for the best value!
Value-NOUN:

1.An amount, as of goods, services, or money, considered to be a fair and suitable equivalent for something else; a fair price or return.

2.Worth in usefulness or importance to the possessor; utility or merit: the value of an education.

Just curious, did you go through TP directly or your LHS? I asked my LHS about the TP warrenty on puffed/crashed packs and only got funny looks.

Thanks,
Jason

I went through TP. I asked rctoys.com if they would replace it.. and they referred me to
http://thunderpowerrc.com/html/downloads.html Fill out an RMA. After I filled that out and Chris answered a couple of my questions... 6 days later i had a new 3300 all the way across the Atlantic ocean.

I fried a TP pack by cutting both wires at the same time in order to install connectors. they were good enough to get me a new pack at half the price - I considered that more than fair. They have great customer service, and I'm normally petty hard on companies.

hhaha yeah i almost broke out in tears knowing that i just lit 120$ on fire and didnt even get to use them... I just decided to buy the TP charger/balancer so i dont have to fool around with the balance connectors anymore. Plus I will have myself a nice charger and balancer... which i dont have yet.

Did you have to send in your old pack first, or did they just send a new one out based on the RMA form?

I have a couple 2200-3SX packs that have lost their punch and are going out of balance after 130 cycles. I emailed TP and they also referred me to the RMA form and said they could offer me 50% replacements....wasn't clear if I'd have to send the old ones in first.

No after it blew up it kept sparking and getting hot... so it now lies under 1 ft of afghanistan soil. I told Chris that i burried it and told him i didnt think that it would be a good idea for me to send it to him. he was very understanding about it and said "just leave it buried" . Your case my be different though... since there is no physical damage to the battery... I would just fill out the RMA and see what happens from there.

Well I sent the packs in and 2 days after TP received them I got a UPS tracking email for my replacements! No cost, no questions asked. Can't beat that!
