personally I don't have bearings last long enough for greasing. I tri-flow them and replace whenever they get notchy which used to be alot more often than recent months. I guess I need to look at a greaser setup for my 600..
Bearings seem to be pretty cheap.

Duh, yes. :)

Well I started pretty early too but you never know what is going through someones mind. I come from the school that a bearing is packed ... sorry had to go quickly.

Sorry I had to run off. I was going to say I learned to pack bearings by hand so they were full of grease. I have never tried to grease a sealed bearing with the seals still on. Some folks just put some grease on them which is useless. I should have given you more credit.

I guess oil would work fine for bearings but not stay there long. I see the in line skate folks use oil for less drag at the expense of bearing life. You would need to oil just about every flight and I would think you would want to pressure lubricate so you know you got some in there as opposed to just putting some oil on a sealed bearing.

Same thing with full scale race cars, lube eery session.

WRT oiling selaed bearing, if you can get it horizontal, the il will seep in, you can put it on teh bearing shiled nad watch it go into the bearing.
