Hi,
I just got my 600 nitro pro today, and need advise on mufflers and regulators. I have never had anything but the trex450, so 50 size and nitro are new.
I will use the GY611, 4xfutaba 9451, OS50hyper and spektrum.
I was going to get the Hatori SB50HP JK, but they seem to be sold out everywere. Can anyone recommend an easy to tune unit with good performance. Preferably one that doesnt require modification.
I was also thinking arizona regulator with the pin system? Any reason to not use this system?
Thanks,
J

It's hard to beat the Align 2 in 1 regulator, and the MP5 is badass on the Hyper.

Hey mate,
I dunno if you really need a 9451 on the throttle, a 9252 is heaps lol. But hey if you got the money. The Hatori 522 kicks with the Hyper, from my experience they go better then the CY MP series. The Arizona is just to big, I went with the new 6A BEC with 5.1V step down... that way it's not chewing any power out of your rx pack to ignite the glow.

I've tried MP2, MP5, and the Hatori SB-50HP on OS 50 Hyper. The pipe that works the best IMHO is the Hatori, very easy to tune and its smoother on the power not as peaky as the CY MP.
BTW, here are 2 places that have the pipe in stock:

The Align 2 in 1 works really well and seems to take very little power from the Rx pack - I use an FP 2500 2S for electrics and put back around 150 mAh per flight.
Incidentally ALign have a new 2S pack out 1900 mAh WITH a balance tap http://www.deeteeenterprises.com/NS.AlignRC.Batt.2.Cell.1900.10C.php and I have just put that into one of my electrics with the ALign 6A regulator - best bang for $$$ but hot glue in the leads just to be safe.

MP-5 and Align 2 in 1.
No problem mounting the Arizona reg. I love this thing. Battery (4000mah Duralite) is down below. Receiver on top.
SB50 two piece is so far my best power to date. YS50

Please elaborate on the meaning of "peaky"

Meaning that the Hatori power band is wider than the MP. For example MP2 seems to like a higher motor rpm and staying at that rpm if you get out of it doesn't work as well.
Plus I had an issue with the MP2 when hovering it would drive the tail/gyro to cause a back and forth wag (not gain related) no matter what needle setting where at, however when in 3D it was fine. Put on the Hatori all smooth now.
Thank.
